Scooter Waterfall
Choosing your frame
The bold one. A black frame draws a hard edge around the image and pulls your eye straight into the photo — nothing competes with it. It's the move for a white or light-toned wall, where that contrast does the heavy lifting.
The quiet one. White lets the photo breathe — it steps back so the image gets all the attention. Best on a textured or darker wall, where it lifts the print off the surface instead of blending in.
The warm one. Raw timber brings a softness that black and white can't — it feels handmade, not manufactured. This is the easy match for warm, neutral, or busier spaces where a stark frame would read too cold.
Every framed print includes a hand-cut white mat — conservation grade, 100% acid-free, and sustainably sourced. It won't yellow or fade with age, so the print looks as clean in ten years as it does on day one.
Unframed prints are still printed using our Giclée pigment process on heavyweight 200gsm Matte Art Paper — the same process museums use. They come rolled up and shipped in extra-thick cardboard tubes.
Choosing your size
Each framed print includes a white gallery mat. Listed dimensions are the visible size under perspex (image area + mat) and don't include the outer frame, so the finished piece hangs slightly larger.
Listed dimensions are the full print size.
Shipping information
Every print is hand-crafted to order and shipped worldwide. Orders route globally to the production facility closest to you, so your piece travels a shorter distance and reaches you faster.
Because nothing is pre-printed, please allow a short window before your order ships. Unframed prints are usually produced within 3–5 days. Framed pieces take a little longer, since each frame is assembled and matted by hand — please allow 1–2 weeks for production completion.
Your print is wrapped in a protective sleeve with guards fitted to every corner, and a rigid board is secured over the face to shield the surface. Larger sizes are bubble-wrapped for added protection, then everything ships in a heavy-duty box. The frames use a lightweight perspex glaze rather than glass, which makes them far more resilient in transit while maintaining the same high-quality glossy look.
Each print is hand-rolled in tissue paper and sent in a thick-walled tube. Take care removing the print from its tube — take it out gently and leave it to unroll on its own. Unrolling too aggressively could cause wrinkling. We recommend unrolling slowly and laying the print flat with the corners pinned down for a day or two before framing.
You'll receive tracking the moment your order is dispatched. Most orders arrive within 1 to 3 weeks from production completion, depending on your destination and how close you are to the production facility. Damage in transit is rare, but if anything arrives less than perfect, reach out and we'll make it right.
Returns & refunds
Every print is made to order — printed, matted, and hand-framed individually for you. Here's how cancellations, returns, and refunds work.
Need to change or cancel? Email orders@patkay.studio as soon as possible. Changes are usually possible while your order is still queued, but once it enters production it's being made just for you and can no longer be cancelled or altered.
Because every piece is made to order, we're unable to accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. Please double-check your size, frame colour, and finish before ordering — and if you'd like help choosing, just ask.
We stand behind every print we make. If your order arrives damaged, has a fault, or isn't what you ordered, we'll put it right with a free replacement or a full refund — your choice. Email us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue.
If your order is lost in the post, we'll replace it. Carriers consider a parcel lost 30 days after dispatch, so replacements are arranged after that point.
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method — please allow a few business days for your bank to process it. The full policy lives on our Returns & Refunds page.
Scooter Waterfall
Taiwan's scooter waterfall is legendary. As with many places in South East Asia, getting around by scooter is the way to get anywhere. Taiwan leads the way.
Living with the work
Many thanks for the speedy delivery. My two prints arrived in Switzerland 6 days after ordering. The quality of the print and paper are top notch. What always amazes me is how much better these prints look in real life (in big) than they did on my iPad. Thanks again, those two prints will look great next to each other on the wall. now gotta find some nice frames. cheers.
Great print quality - quick and safe delivery I got this print as a present because I absolutely love the image and know the person I want to gift it to would too. Now that I got it and checked it out, I don't know if I still want to gift it since it's so cool. The quality is great and the image looks even better on print. Delivery was quick (Germany) and packaging was perfect to keep it safe.
Great print for a great shop Fantastic customer service. My print was somehow not delivered by my local post office and was sent back... Pat contacted me instantly to ship it again at a new adress free of charge !! The print is fabulous adding a great Japan vibe on the wall.
It arrived framed and ready to hang, so it was on the wall within the hour — no trip to the framer, no waiting around. The print itself is genuinely gallery-grade: the paper has real weight to it and the mat makes the whole thing feel considered. Honestly it doesn't feel like something I ordered online, and I keep catching myself stopping to look at it.
The colour is what pulled me in online, and it's noticeably deeper in person — there's a richness the screen just couldn't show me. It shipped to Brooklyn faster than I expected and turned up perfectly protected, not a corner touched. It's the first thing every guest stops and asks about, and I still point it out every time. Already planning the next one.
Beautifully packed — every corner protected, clearly a lot of thought put into getting it to me in one piece. The matting and frame make it feel like a proper piece rather than a poster, and up close the detail is lovely. It reached London quicker than I'd guessed and arrived without a mark on it. I've already come back for a second, and I doubt it'll be my last.

Made to last a lifetime
The same standard museums and galleries use for original fine-art reproduction.
True professional 12-colour giclée. Not standard poster printing. Expect richer tones, truer colour, and exceptional fine detail.
Using archival pigments, the print holds its brilliance for 100 to 200 years without fading indoors.
