Every framed print is built the way a gallery would do it — your giclée print floated inside a wide archival mat, set behind a solid timber frame. The mat gives the image room to breathe and lifts the paper off the glazing, and that little bit of depth is what you notice the moment it's on the wall.
Frames are real wood in a clean, quiet profile — chosen to sit around the picture rather than compete with it.
Black, White, Natural or unframed
Black — a deep matte black that suits almost any room and lets the colour do the talking.
White — soft and bright; melts into a gallery wall and keeps things airy.
Natural — warm raw timber, for a lighter, more organic feel.
Unframed — just the giclée print, ready to float, clip or frame yourself.
Choosing your frame
Three finishes, one archival build. Here's how each frame behaves on a wall — plus the mat, the profile dimensions, and what you get unframed.
The bold one. A black frame draws a hard edge around the image and pulls your eye straight into the photo — nothing competes with it. It's the move for a white or light-toned wall, where that contrast does the heavy lifting.
The quiet one. White lets the photo breathe — it steps back so the image gets all the attention. Best on a textured or darker wall, where it lifts the print off the surface instead of blending in.
The warm one. Raw timber brings a softness that black and white can't — it feels handmade, not manufactured. This is the easy match for warm, neutral, or busier spaces where a stark frame would read too cold.
Every framed print includes a hand-cut white mat — conservation grade, 100% acid-free, and sustainably sourced. It won't yellow or fade with age, so the print looks as clean in ten years as it does on day one.
Unframed prints are still printed using our Giclée pigment process on heavyweight 200gsm Matte Art Paper — the same process museums use. They come rolled up and shipped in extra-thick cardboard tubes.
