Ordering & production

What happens after I place my order?

First, you'll get an order confirmation by email.

Because every piece is made to order, it then goes into production at our fine-art lab, is checked by hand, framed if you chose a frame, then dispatched.

When it ships, you'll receive an email with the tracking details.

How soon does it ship?

You'll receive tracking the moment your order is dispatched. Most orders arrive within 1 to 3 weeks from production completion, depending on your destination and how close you are to the production facility. Damage in transit is rare, but if anything arrives less than perfect, reach out and we'll make it right.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Reach us as quickly as you can at orders@patkay.studio.

Because prints are made to order there's only a short window before production begins and we can't change the order, but we'll always do our best to help in the given time.

Prints & framing

What kind of prints are these?

Museum-grade Giclée fine art prints, made the way galleries make them. A 12-colour archival pigment process on museum-quality paper.

When kept out of direct sun, the colour holds for generations.

What are my framing options?

Solid-wood frames in Black, White or Natural, each with a wide archival mat — or the unframed print on its own.

  • Statement — 40 × 60 cm / 16 × 24"
  • Signature — 50 × 75 cm / 20 × 30"

  • Masterpiece — 76 x 114cm / 30 x 45" (Unframed only)

Please note that Signature is not available for unframed prints.

Do framed prints arrive ready to hang?

Yes — hanging hardware is fitted and everything's protected for the trip, so it's on the wall immediately if you're up for it.

How is my print packaged?

Framed prints

Your print is wrapped in a protective sleeve with guards fitted to every corner, and a rigid board is secured over the face to shield the surface. Larger sizes are bubble-wrapped for added protection, then everything ships in a heavy-duty box. The frames use a lightweight perspex glaze rather than glass, which makes them far more resilient in transit while maintaining the same high-quality glossy look.

Unframed prints

Each print is hand-rolled in tissue paper and sent in a thick-walled tube. Take care removing the print from its tube — take it out gently and leave it to unroll on its own. Unrolling too aggressively could cause wrinkling. We recommend unrolling slowly and laying the print flat with the corners pinned down for a day or two before framing.

Will I be charged duties or taxes?

Any import duties or local taxes are set by your country and may be collected on delivery — they're outside our control.

Returns & care

My print arrived damaged — what now?

Email orders@patkay.studio with photos of the piece and the packaging and we'll arrange a replacement. Full detail on the Returns & Refunds page.

Can I return it if I change my mind?

Because each piece is made to order, we can't take change-of-mind returns — but if anything's wrong, we'll make it right.

How should I care for it?

Hang it out of direct sunlight.

If dusting is required, use an air blower for best results as the glazing can scratch easily. At the very least, use a microfibre cloth and check for debris before wiping gently.

Keep it out of damp rooms.

Trade & licensing

Do you offer trade pricing?

Yes. Designers, stylists, architects and hospitality can apply to the trade program for preferred pricing and a direct line for projects.

Can I license an image?

Many of these photographs are available for licensing. Get in touch at orders@patkay.studio and tell us about the use.
